Frequently asked questions
Are bills included in the rent?
Yes. Heating, water and council tax are all included. Internet is available for £3.50 a week extra.
How is rent paid?
Rent is paid strictly weekly.
Do you accept DSS / Universal Credit?
Yes, DSS is accepted. References, a guarantor or a larger deposit may be required.
Can I have a pet?
Sorry, we don't allow pets, so our homes stay in great condition for everyone.
Can I smoke in the property?
Smoking is allowed outdoors only, never inside any of our properties.
What do I need to rent a room?
You'll need to prove your right to rent in the UK, which all landlords must check by law, and we may ask for references.
You'll also need:
- A deposit (normally two weeks' rent)
- Your first week's rent paid up front
- A bank account that can set up a standing order or Direct Debit for your rent
